Understanding the Unique Properties of AAC Walls

An AAC Wall is among the many next-generation prefabricated building solutions. AAC Wall earned its name by being made with a lightweight yet durable chemical composition called Autoclaved Aerated Concrete.

As a prefabricated building solution, this walling solution appears as a solution to the hurdles and growing desires in the developing world. These include:

  1. Reducing slower project completion
  2. Promising reliable strength and support
  3. A sustainable solution that reduces harmful emissions
  4. Ensuring profit maximisation by optimising costs
  5. Being resistant to environmental threats
  6. Ensuring safety on the site
  7. Easily adaptable building materials that do not require extensive learning

From concrete that readily heals cracks, repairing structures without the added expense of maintenance to readymade stairs, and more, prefabricated building solutions are increasing performance while saving time, cost, energy, the environment and a lot more. They are reshaping the world – and, especially, in our case, it is one wall at a time.

What Are AAC Walls?

Our walling solution, called the ZMARTBUILD WALL By NXTBLOC, is a steel-reinforced AAC Wall. It is lightweight and slim, yet offers durability and reliability to bear secondary lateral load. Without any compromise, this wall offers to speed up completion times by being 4 times to 6 times faster than blocks and red bricks. It is able to do all this and offers a lot more benefits owing to its composition.

It is made with a blend of natural elements and fragmented aggregates like cement, lime, water, and a small percentage of aluminium powder that gets subjected to high-pressure steam curing. In addition to this, it has anti-corrosion layered steel bars and ST50 wire mesh inside. This blend makes it a lightweight, slim, sturdy yet durable walling solution that offers a level 5 smooth finish and doesn’t fall victim to pressure or cracks.

Unique Properties Of AAC Walls:

Lightweight:

Yet durable due to its anti-corrosion layered steel bars with wire mesh ST50 inside

Increased Carpet Area:

Maximises space by covering only 7.5 cm, unlike 9 cm when using Drywall and 15 cm when using red bricks

Faster Installation:

6x faster project completion than traditional means because it is equipped with tongue & groove for easy installation and does not require using a lintel for up to 6 metres

Steel-reinforced:

For flexural strength, safety & durability

Low Finishing Cost:

Saves total cost by requiring less labour & time (requires only 3 Certified Installers to cover over 30 square metres a day)

Fire Resistant:

It is non-combustible & resistant for up to 2.5 hours in a wall with a thickness of 75 mm & for up to 4 hours in a wall with a thickness of 100 mm

Thermal & Acoustic Insulation:

Excellent at noise reduction with an STC (Sound Transmission Class) rating ranging between 37 – 43 & slowing heat transfer with 0.16 watts per metre Kelvin (w/mK)

Eco-friendly:

Reduces the consumption of water during installation by 98%
